July 2008: Plan is appealing for funds to provide immediate relief to more than 400,000 children and families in Masbate, the Philippines, after Typhoon Fengshen swept across the country causing devastation.

More than 2,400,000 people are believed to have been affected by related landslides, flash floods and storm surges.

Plan is already delivering relief goods to affected children and families who are in desperate need of food, safe water and shelter.
