Sexuality Kit - ¡Cógela Suave! / Take it easy!

Part A: For boys and girls

Re-descubriendo mi sexualidad - Pistas para niños y niñas

The sexuality, love, affection and rights are the issues that integrate this material in daily lessons. The first lesson starts as new born baby with the first relation established with the sight, the words or the caresses and the care that the parents provide.  The second lesson starts in school learning about the body; understanding the way to settle relations with themselves as well as the others and the values for the life in common, such as responsibility, honesty, thrust, respect, acceptance, egoism, discrimination, etc.  This is the center of the material developed by Plan for the promotion of a pleasant, informed and healthy life.

Part B: For adolescents

Donde habita mi sexualidad - Pistas para adolescentes

The second material of three issues is created to provide keys to help boys, girls and adolescents to discover themselves.  For this reason, we propose four ways to achieve it, through exercises to encourage the readers to question themselves; to read; write and to speak about the topics of the module.  As a result of this, the work of the facilitators will be promoted with the help of parents, friends and equal partners.

Manual CHILDPRO. Participación activa de la niñez en los procesos de desarrollo

Based on the Child Centred Principle, the CHILDPRO initiative arises in Plan as a participatory approach that enables children to organise themselves and actively participate in community development processes. CHILDPRO is not a project or specific activity, but rather a participatory approach that seeks to work WITH children instead of FOR children. The manual details two ways of training: a single workshop or a series of four different workshops targeted at four different groups of people. This is a work document for anyone interested in starting a participatory process for children in a particular community.
