Welcome to Plan Sudan
Sudan is the largest country in Africa, about a third the size of the whole of North America. Most of the population lives near the Nile River or one of its branches. Agriculture, the largest economic sector in the country, provides the primary source of livelihood for about 80% of the population.
Life revolves around faith and the family. It's common for members of the extended family to live together in the same house or same compound (commonly known as the haush), which is the focal point of the family.
