 | Welcome to Plan Togo
Togo is a small Sub-Saharan country located on the coastline of Atlantic Ocean in West Africa, and bordered by three countries: Benin (East), Burkina (North) and Ghana (West). The primary source of livelihood is subsistence agriculture which is the main economic activity in Togo, employing about 70% of the total labour force.

Plan's work
In the areas where Plan works, the annual income averages just £44 per person. The effects of poverty have a particularly devastating effect on children. Almost half of the population in Togo are less than 15 years old.
Plan has been striving since 1988 to make differences in the lives of children in Togo in the areas of health, water and sanitation, education, and protecting and promoting children's rights.
